Sessions & Fees
First Step
An initial session
Many of us feel apprehensive when considering therapy, for this reason I like to offer an initial session for a reduced fee to allow you the space to explore if this is the right time for you to engage with counselling. This first meeting will give you the opportunity to ask any questions, share what it is that has brought you to seek counselling and get a feel for me as a practitioner as it is important that you feel comfortable opening up. This time also allows me to understand what your expectations are of therapy. There is no obligation to continue after this initial session however, if you feel comfortable to proceed, we will explore availability during this session.

Next Step

If you decide to proceed, I offer both short and long term therapy. It is recommended that therapy occurs once a week however, I understand that this is not always suitable for everyone. My person- centred approach means that I am open to everyone's individual needs and if you have any specific requirements or requests of how you would like to work then feel free to discuss this with me. You are not required to make this decision straight away, this is your journey so we can review and change the frequency or amount of sessions whenever you wish.
If you would like a dedicated on- going slot, at the same time each week, I will do my best to accommodate this for you.

Fees and Length
An initial introductory session is 50 minutes long charged at £25, payable online prior to the session. Sessions are then 50 minutes long; video sessions costing £45 (worldwide) and telephone sessions costing £40 (only offered within the UK), payable online 24 hours prior to session.

Cancellation and Missed Sessions

Payment is taken upfront and if you do wish to cancel, I require a minimum of 24 hours notice or the fee will still be charged. Missed sessions will also incur the session payment however, please do talk to me in regards to waiving this fee if it is due to genuine unforeseen circumstances.
